Family Group Conference (FGC)
- In keeping with the concept of family strengthening approaches, AHK Care for Children is linked to professionally trained family group coordinators who are able to facilitate family group conferences aimed at supporting families to formulate family plans to safeguard children, promote their welfare and capacitate families to take a lead in the process. We offer face to face, virtual and hybrid family group conferences within reasonable timescales and we are flexible in arranging dates and times convenient for the family members. In these difficult times of covid-19, not all family members are able to attend FGCs face to face. As such, we offer hybrid family group conferences to allow family members who cannot attend face to face to join virtually and actively participate in the process.
